Does Mitchem do more than sell and install tires?
Absolutely. All six Mitchem Tire & Auto locations are full-service auto repair shops. In addition to tires, our technicians provide oil changes, brake repair, engine diagnostics and repair, A/C service, steering and suspension repair, alignments, cooling-system repair, battery service, preventative maintenance, and much more.
Do I need an appointment for auto repair at Mitchem?
No appointment needed. Mitchem does not require appointments. We specialize in same-day service and work to complete most maintenance and repairs the same day, depending on arrival time and parts availability.
Does Mitchem provide same-day auto repair?
In many cases, yes. Most maintenance and repair services can be completed the same day. Timing depends on when you arrive, the repair your vehicle needs and parts availability. For more complex repairs, your Mitchem service advisor can give you a better idea of the expected turnaround time after evaluating your vehicle.
What makes and models does Mitchem service?
Mitchem Tire & Auto services all makes and models, including domestic, Asian and European vehicles. Our shops work on cars, trucks, SUVs, electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles and diesel vehicles.
Does Mitchem work on diesel vehicles?
Yes. All six locations can service diesel vehicles. However, bay and parking-lot sizes vary by location, so customers with semi-trucks, oversized RVs or other unusually large vehicles should call their nearest Mitchem before visiting.
Can Mitchem service my newer vehicle instead of the dealership?
Yes. Mitchem can access the recommended maintenance schedules for most vehicles and perform the appropriate routine services. Our team can help determine what maintenance is recommended based on your vehicle’s make, model and mileage.
Does Mitchem service business or fleet vehicles?
Yes. While Mitchem does not currently have a formal fleet program, arrangements can be made for local businesses with multiple vehicles. Contact your nearest Mitchem location to discuss your needs.
Will Mitchem inspect my vehicle when it's being serviced?
Yes. We perform a visual inspection on every vehicle to look for potential problems and areas that may need attention. When appropriate, photos and additional information can be shared electronically or findings can be discussed with you by phone.
Will I know how much my auto repair will cost before work begins?
Yes. Recommended repairs and estimated costs are discussed with you before work begins. Estimates may be provided verbally, in print or by email, and repairs can be authorized by phone or email.
What warranty does Mitchem offer on auto repairs?
Mitchem Tire & Auto backs qualifying parts and labor with a 24-month/24,000-mile warranty. Tire mileage warranties vary by manufacturer, and Mitchem also offers nationwide road hazard protection for qualifying tires.
Do I have to buy my tires from Mitchem to use Mitchem for auto repair?
Not at all. Mitchem is a full-service auto repair shop, and you don’t have to purchase tires from us to have your vehicle serviced or repaired here.
Does Mitchem offer financing for auto repairs?
Yes. Financing options are available for all products and services at every Mitchem Tire & Auto location through CFNA, Synchrony and SNAP financing.
What auto repair services doesn't Mitchem perform?
